An ongoing project, Backbeat is a fictional restaurant and jazz lounge located in East Harlem, NYC. A product of the Experiential Design Studio, this project is a collaboration with interior designer Audrey Delatte. With New York's influences on the Jazz genre, as well as Michelin Star chef Dabiz Muñoz serving as the foundation of our concept, Audrey and I strived to create a dining experience where the synergy between musician and chef was felt at every step.
